CWV Services

Our Services

Heart-Centered, Research-Based & Results-Driven Model

For too long, communities have focused on short-term interventions to solve its chronic problems.  Unfortunately, those solutions tend to neglect the longer-term drivers of many of its challenges.  Underlying these social ills is a network of systemic societal issues that contribute to a cycle of deprivation, hopelessness, violence, homelessness, mental health concerns, and more.

By employing a heart-centered, research-based, results-driven model for delivering essential health and human services, CWV is focused on demonstrating what does work in our communities. We firmly believe that having a coordinated system of care contributes to overall wellness and leads to more effective, lasting outcomes.

The CWV Model of Integrated Care

Our model highlights the reality that effective service delivery addresses the specific systemic needs of individuals, families, and communities.

DATA-DRIVEN:

We subscribe to a robust framework of accountability and employ the latest industry research and data to inform best practices. We’ve developed the only fully-integrated treatment model on violence and led the behavioral health component of the District’s first ever randomized trial to study and help interrupt cycles of trauma that contribute to violence, mental health issues, and poverty in vulnerable communities.

CULTURALLY-SPECIFIC:

Armed with a deep understanding of the comprehensive lived experiences of our clients, we tailor solutions that are aligned with the culturally-relevant goals, needs, and desires of the people we serve.

HIGH-QUALITY:

Our network of highly-trained, qualified practitioners, providers, and community-based support services are committed to improving outcomes.
